In 2024 CORMORANT acquired the brand ASTROBIONIX, established in 2009 with the purpose of developing advanced planetary exploration systems, and in particular special vehicles for search & rescue and emergency medical services in remote areas such as analog research stations. This also generated interesting scientific works, as well as good media coverage both in Germany and in Italy.

The spin-off of the ASTROBIONIX project brought interesting developments in the area of special cars such as exotic & movie vehicles, hunting & glamping vehicles, race cars, private tactical bug-out vehicles, and extreme luxury collector vehicles.

If in 2009 ASTROBIONIX was way too futuristic and visionary for its era, today it is a very implementable concept albeit it is still way ahead of all its potential competitors.

Under the CORMORANT umbrella, DESIGN·BUREAU aims to maintain and strengthen the ASTROBIONIX leading position in the field of human space exploration in order to boost the land - space domain integration, and to continue the development of liquid armor solutions for soldiers and astronauts alike.
